Ms. Tamara

Executive Director

Ms. Tamara holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in History from California State University, Long Beach.  Thereafter, she went on to pursue her multiple subject teaching credential.  She has over 10 years of experience working in early childhood education as a Lead Kindergarten Teacher at an enriched Montessori school, as well as a Director at another local Montessori school.  Ms. Tamara has always had a passion for teaching young children and building positive relationships with parents and staff.  She is excited to be a part of the Spectrum Montessori family.

Ms. Tania

 Assistant Director

Ms. Tania graduated with her Bachelor's Degree from Whittier College studying Child Development with a minor in Psychology.  She has 10 years of work experience with children of all ages in various settings but has a passion for early childhood education.  She has been a lead teacher for toddler and preschool children.  She also has 3 years of experience as an assistant director.  Her favorite part of teaching is learning and growing alongside the children as she has always believed that all interactions with children can be a learning opportunity for teachers and parents as well!  She looks forward to working with Spectrum Montessori and obtaining her Montessori certification this year.


Ms. Jaime

Lead Infant Teacher

Ms. Jaime holds a Bachelors of Science in Human Services from California State College, Fullerton. She completed her Masters in Counseling and Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix. She has over twelve years of experience working with children both in a Preschool environment as well as a behavior therapist. She loves working with and helping children of all ages to learn and grow, especially the infant and toddlers.


Ms. Sheena

Infant Assistant Teacher

Ms. Sheena received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from California State University, Fullerton.  After working as an intern at the CSUF Development Center, she developed a passion for working with children and is committed to further her education and career in this field.  Ms. Sheena enjoys watching the children grow while providing them with a loving and nurturing environment.  In her free time, Ms. Sheena enjoys staying active, watching hockey, spending time with friends and family, baking, and traveling. 


Ms. Dida

Infant Assistant Teacher

Ms. Dida graduated from the Philippine Normal University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, she taught at Maryknoll College Grade School in Quezon City, Philippines, until she migrated to the US in 2001. She completed the Early Childhood courses at the UCLA Extension Program and Irvine Valley College. She has worked with children of all ages at a Montessori preschool. Ms. Dida enjoys working with children and treats each one as her own. She helps each child develop his/her independence and love for learning.


Ms. Aubrey

Infant Assistant Teacher

Ms. Aubrey received her Bachelors of Science in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton.  She has worked with children ages 3 months to 10 years of age in various settings.  She discovered her passion for Early Childhood and has been caring for infants for three years.  She is dedicated to nurturing young children and helping them reach their milestones.  She also enjoys hiking, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family.


Ms. Melanie

 Lead Toddler Teacher

 Ms. Melanie took her Montessori training at UC Irvine and received a teaching certificate for ages birth to 3 years old.  She has been working with infants and toddlers for the past 12 years as an assistant and lead teacher.  During her free time, Ms. Melanie enjoys being with her children and barbequing on the weekends.


Ms. Janet

Lead Toddler Teacher

Ms. Janet received her Montessori training at St. Nicholas Foundation in Malaysia and graduated from the British Montessori Center International in 2002. In addition to the Montessori training, she also took a variety of Early Childhood courses at Irvine Valley College. Ms. Janet has nine years of experience in Montessori education, both as a lead and assistant teacher in the toddler program. Her passion is derived from her love of watching children develop and grow into capable and dependent individuals. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and of course, spending time with her husband and three children on the weekends.


Ms. Lara

Lead Toddler Teacher

Ms. Lara is a Southern California native with Hawaiian roots. Growing up with her mother as a preschool teacher, Lara’s passion for kids and teaching has always been something she wanted to pursue. With three girls of her own, she adores and cares deeply for children. Having her own children attend Montessori School for a number of years, Lara is a true advocate of the Montessori education. She is currently taking Infant and Toddler Montessori training at UCI. On her days off, she enjoys hot yoga and loves spending time with her girls and husband.


Ms. Maria

Lead Toddler Teacher

Ms. Maria is a giving and energetic soul who grew up in the South Bay.  She has worked with children for 11 years and strongly believes that the opportunities have been the most rewarding experiences, the biggest blessings, and a labor of love.  She has been practicing the Montessori Method for 10 years now and obtained her certifications both in Infant/Toddler and in Preschool from the University of Irvine.  What is most important to her are the imprints that she leaves and the inspiration that she builds with children and adults alike.  Ms. Maria is excited to be part of the Spectrum team and family and is ready to share her free spirited nature to all.


Ms. Christina

Toddler Assistant Teacher

Ms. Christina first discovered Montessori when her son went to Montessori School as a toddler. Ms. Christina began pursuing her Teacher Assistant credentials so one day she could work at a Montessori school and follow her love of working with and learning from toddlers.


Ms. Victoria

Toddler Assistant Teacher

Ms. Victoria began her education at Long Beach City College to obtain her certification in Early Childhood Development, after receiving an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies.  She became passionate about the Montessori method while working at a Montessori school, which inspired her to obtain a Montessori Infant and Toddler certification from UCI.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children.


Ms. Mayra

Toddler Assistant Teacher

Ms. Mayra has been working with infants, toddlers, and preschool children for the past four years as an assistant teacher.  She is currently attending Santa Ana College and working on transferring to California State University at Fullerton.  She is very passionate about teaching and is committed to working with children.  In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, shopping, going on trips, and being with my friends and family.


Ms. Penny

Toddler Assistant Teacher

Ms. Penny has a Bachelor of Science degree from the Philippine Women’s University and has taken additional educational classes in nursing and early childhood development.  Ms. Penny has always enjoyed children, which lead her to pursue a career in education.  She has over 5 years of experience as a Toddler Assistant Teacher and prides herself in bringing joy and love to the classroom.  Ms. Penny has a passion to provide a nurturing environment for all children and ensures all children receive the best care and love.  Ms. Penny feels very fortunate and excited to be a part of the Spectrum Montessori family.  She believes the school has many experienced and professional teachers and looks forward to collaboratively working with all the great teachers to make the learning environment the best for the children at the school.


Ms. Lucy

Lead Primary Teacher

Ms. Lucy is a Certified Montessori Teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Management.  She has more than eight years of teaching experience in a Montessori School for ages 18 months to six years old.  During her spare time, she tutors kindergarten, elementary, and middle school students in the public school.  Ms. Lucy started as a college instructor in a foreign country and decided to take the Montessori training later on to teach the very young children of our society.  From then on, she dedicated her career to the fundamental development of the very young minds, the rewarding and fulfilling moments every educator enjoys.


Ms. Jessica

Lead Primary Teacher

Ms. Jessica grew up in Orange County, California.  She is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelors of Arts in Education.  She was the Art and Humanities Coordinator/Instructor when she became passionate about working with children.  This passion led Ms. Jessica to learn about Maria Montessori and was so inspired that she went and attained her AMS Montessori certificate.  Ms. Jessica feels that teaching has been a beautiful and fulfilling experience for her as she watches the children grow and learn.  In her spare time, she enjoys the arts and serving at her church.


Ms. Patty

Lead Primary Teacher

Ms. Patty graduated from Philippine Women’s University with a B.A. in Psychology and went into teaching young children right after graduation. She fell in love with the Montessori Philosophy and eventually obtained her AMS Montessori Diploma. Ms. Patty has years of teaching experience. Teaching young children is her passion. Also, Ms. Patty enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and actively participating at her church prayer group. 


Ms. Clarissa

Lead Primary Teacher

Ms. Clarissa obtained her Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education from Chaminade University of Honolulu, Hawaii. Her degree included her certification from American Montessori Society. Living on the island brought her a true sense of Dr. Maria Montessori’s love of nature and the esthetic value of incorporating it inside the classroom. Ms. Clarissa has years of experience working in a Montessori classroom. She has also helped families on a more personal level which embraces the philosophy in their own homes. Although, her greatest blessing the last three years has been to be able to fully implement the teachings of Dr. Montessori with her own child.


Ms. Cybill

Lead Primary Teacher

Ms. Cybill is a recent graduate from the University of California, Irvine, receiving her B.A. in Public Health Policy and minor in Education. Throughout college, she worked at two different schools ranging from toddlers to elementary aged children. Her love and passion for teaching is something that she has always wanted to pursue. The opportunity to work at a Montessori will help her venture off into the next chapter of her life with the clarification that teaching is exactly what she loves to do. In her spare time, Cybill likes to cook, go to Disneyland, and spend quality time with family and friends.


Ms. Esther

Primary Assistant Teacher

Ms. Esther recently completed her Preschool Teacher certificate from North Orange County Community College. Ms. Esther’s faith in God and devotion to her family have led her to pursue a career working with young children. With great passion and excitement, Ms. Esther will assist in our Primary program. 


Ms. Tia

Primary Assistant Teacher

Ms. Tia currently attends Saddleback College and is enrolled in classes to further her Early Childhood education.  She came to Spectrum Montessori with years of experience working with children of all ages and loves the Montessori philosophy.  She continues to grow as an educator as she pursues her love and passion for teaching children.  Ms. Tia’s other hobbies include going to Disneyland, singing, and spending time with her friends and family. 


Ms. Cristina

Primary Assistant Teacher

Ms. Cristina earned an A.A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences, as well as an A.A. in Humanities and Communication from Santiago Canyon Community College.  She continued her education at California State University, Fullerton and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Child and Adolescent Development.  In her spare time, Ms. Cristina enjoys reading, walking her dog, and playing softball.  


Ms. Martha

Primary Assistant Teacher

Ms. Martha holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Westwood College in Chicago, IL.  She recently moved to California where she trained in the Montessori philosophy.  Her passion for working and helping children has grown over the years while assisting and helping in community events.   In her free time, Ms. Martha enjoys hiking with her dog and going to the beach.  


Ms. Armida

Primary Assistant Teacher

Ms. Armida has been working at Montessori schools for the past twenty years.  Her son and daughter attended Montessori schools in their early childhood, which inspired her to pursue her Montessori training.  She has much love and passion for teaching young children in the Montessori setting.  She is currently attending Saddleback College to further her early childhood education.  In her spare time, she enjoys music concerts, Zumba, and spends time with family and friends.
